• Disgraced celebrity publicist Max Clifford dies; ‘He did our industry a disservice’

    Former celebrity ‘publicist’ Max Clifford has been described as having done “a disservice” to the communications industry, following his death this weekend. 
     
    It was reported that Clifford, who was serving an eight-year prison sentence for eight counts of indecent assault that he was convicted of in 2014, collapsed and died of a cardiac arrest in hospital on Friday, aged 74. He had a history of heart issues.

    Almost half (42.3%) of UK citizens believe artificial intelligence (AI) will take jobs in the future, with one in four worried AI is coming for their job role.

    Aldi has released another instalment of Kevin the Carrot’s story, this time seeing him settle down to have babies with new-found love Katie the Carrot. 
    After meeting in the supermarket chain’s November ad, the happy couple has added Jasper, Baby Carrot and Chantenay to their brood.
