  • ITV to levy £140m+ on Virgin Media and Sky to air its main channel

     ITV is set to hit Virgin Media and Sky with £140m (figure by Liberum's analysts) a year in order for it to carry its main channel, with the implicit threat that the channel could be taken off air if it refuses to pay up.

    Despite a double digit rise in the internet advertising spend in the UK, charities are only spending a minimal 5%, according to charity marketing consultancy, nfpSynergy.
    UK's internet advertising increased from £5.4bn in 2012 to £10.3bn in 2016, an increase of  46% of all advertising spending.
