    Taylor Swift has mysteriously disappeared from the internet, leaving fans scrambling for an answer with various theories suggesting the singer is about to drop an album, has been hacked, or is having a digital detox.
    Fans noticed on Friday morning that all posts from the singer’s Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr accounts had been deleted, while her website had been taken down.

    YouTube has introduced a ‘Breaking News’ carousel to its mobile apps and homepage, a move that could indicate parent company Google wants to make it easier for users to source important content on a platform where 300 hours of video are uploaded every minute.

  • Twitter and The Weather Channel set to livestream solar eclipse as it moves across the US

    The Weather Channel, an IBM business, is teaming up with Twitter to bring audiences unrivalled footage of the imminent solar eclipse in a livestream that will follow the eclipse as it moves across the US.
    The eclipse, a once-in-a-hundred-year event, will only be viewable to the US on 21 August. The interactive live coverage for ‘Chasing Eclipse 2017’ kicks off at noon ET and will include footage from 10 locations along the eclipse path.
