    The NEC understands the Conference decisions contained in Motions 9, 10 and 11 presents serious issues which must be addressed. National Delegate Conference is the sovereign body of our union and as such its decisions must be respected.
    There is though no provision in the Rule book to deal with the consequences of a vote of no confidence as passed in Motion 11.

    UNISON NEC elects the union’s new presidential team
    UNISON’s national executive council (NEC) has elected the union’s new presidential team, which was introduced at the end of national delegate conference, in Brighton on Friday.
    Former vice president Andrea Egan (pictured above) becomes president, with Libby Nolan and Amerit Rait as her vice presidents.
