    The country’s leading health organisations – between them representing hundreds of thousands of NHS staff – have today (Wednesday) come together to stand against the abuse to which they have been subjected during the pandemic.

    Commenting on government guidance published today (Wednesday) that staff and volunteers in care homes must be fully vaccinated unless exempt, UNISON head of business and community Donna Rowe-Merriman said:
