• Gen Re aviation unit appoints Brogan to replace McKay

  Gen Re's aviation unit has said John Brogan will replace
  David McKay as president and CEO of its United States Aviation
  Underwriters (USAU) unit when the latter retires next year.
  Brogan will take over the roles in April. The unit manages Gen
  Re's United States Aircraft Insurance Group.
  Brogan joined USAU in 1997. He was named executive vice
  president in 2015 and president and COO in 2016, with
  responsibility for all underwriting and claims operations.

  2017 chairman of the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers
  (CIAB).
  He succeeds Bill Henry, CEO of MHBT/MMA Southwest Region in
  Dallas, Texas.

  insurance leadership forum in Colorado Springs.
