Chinese insurance giant Ping An has bought the Tower Place complex
in London from Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management for
£327mn, in its second purchase in the city's financial
district in less than two years.
Tower Place is the UK headquarters for Marsh & McLennan
Companies. The building was developed by US firm Tishman Speyer and
was completed in 2003.
The deal marks Ping An's second property purchase in
London's insurance district, following its acquisition of the
