Rail passenger compensation for trains over 15 minutes late
Rail passengers will soon be able to claim compensation for trains that are more than 15 minutes late, under Government plans. The Department for Transport (DfT) said Delay Repay 15, as it is to be known, would be launched "soon" for Southern customers. Existing compensation rules mean passengers can only claim payouts when services are delayed by at least 30 minutes.
