BoE's Forbes says waiting too long to raise rates could damage recovery
Waiting too long to raise interest rates could damage Britain's economic recovery and will need to be done "well before" inflation reaches the Bank of England's 2 percent target, Bank of England policymaker Kristin Forbes said on Sunday. Writing in the Telegraph, Forbes said increasing rates too soon might make companies less willing to invest and consumers less willing to spend, but the time lag before a change in monetary policy is felt meant there was a risk of leaving it too late. The humiliation of neo-Nazis in Liverpool makes me proud to be a Scouser
A "White Man March" led by the far-right group National Action was quickly disbanded in Liverpool on Saturday. According to reports, the neo-Nazis were vastly outnumbered by anti-fascists demonstrators. This is great, although when I first heard that the march was happening, I couldn't help but feel sceptical as to why it was being permitted by the city in the first place. -
Star Wars theme park: Disney will bring a galaxy far far away to Florida and California

Fling mud if you must, but don’t call Jeremy Corbyn an anti-Semite
Is Jeremy Corbyn the enemy of Israel and British Jews? That is what the The Jewish Chronicle, some MPs and various sections of the media would have us believe. It is an accusation that is both absurd and menacing. The right, Blairites and hard Zionists have formed the most unholy of alliances to slay the reputation of the next likely leader of the Labour Party. They thought he was a bit-part player, but he has unexpectedly became the front-runner; now every political trick in the book is being u -

The map purports to show us just how much of the globe Isis intends to swallow at first gulp: Spain, Greece, the forme -
