• £6m investment in electricity trade apprenticeships

    Distribution network operator UK Power Networks says it is investing £6 million in craft apprenticeships this year, including hiring 55 newcomers to support local communities and advance Britain’s clean energy goals.

  • Scolmore Group earns EcoVadis Silver status

    EcoVadis has awarded electrical products provider Scolmore Group a Silver Sustainability Medal, recognising an improvement from its previous Bronze rating first achieved in 2022.

    Under a new initiative launched by British smart home energy technology manufacturer myenergi, electrical installers can earn seasonal rewards for fitting the zappi GLO home charger.
    The scheme applies to units installed and commissioned between now and the end of December.
