  The creation of the first British Standard for health and wellbeing in buildings has been welcomed by the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA).

• Over half of permanent employees now open to leaving their job for a better paid contract role

  Over half of permanent employees (58 per cent) in full-time work have stated that they would consider switching to a contract role for the right pay, with 43 per cent stating that the primary driver is the current economic climate.

  Electrotechnical businesses are growing more concerned about labour shortages amid the continuing economic squeeze, according to the latest engineering services industry survey.
