  • Councils may not be able to keep the lights on unless work is carried out on inefficient buildings

    More than two fifths of councils have warned they will be unable to pay their energy bills unless work is carried out on many of their buildings to make them more energy efficient.

  • Veganuary: Sodexo reports increase in sales of vegetarian and vegan dishes in 2022

    To mark Veganuary 2023, Sodexo has published its food sales data showing a year-on-year increase in the proportion of vegetarian and vegan meals sold across 476 of its UK and Ireland client sites.
    Released today, Sodexo’s data shows that the demand for vegan and vegetarian meals climbed year-on-year across its UK and Ireland sites from eight per cent of meals sold in 2021 to 10 per cent in 2022.
