• Loose Women star unites with 2,000 people for ‘inspirational’ Memory Walk

  Alzheimer’s Society supporter Ruth Langsford issued a rallying cry to fundraisers after joining a tide of almost 2,000 people to unite against dementia in an “inspirational” Memory Walk.

• Residents and local communities are celebrating Succot at Jewish Care

  Residents and community centre members across Jewish Care have been celebrating the Jewish harvest festival of Succot with the community, staff and volunteers. This week, year 4 children from Etz Chaim Primary School in Mill HIll visited Clore Manor home in Hendon where they sang to the residents and then enjoyed chatting with them and visiting the Succah.

  Brenda Beard, a resident at Apthorp Care Centre in New Southgate, run by The Fremantle Trust, embraced her love of music during an exclusive singing experience arranged for her during World Alzheimer’s Month.
