    DC Care has completed the sale of Glenarie House Nursing Home, based in Liverpool.
     
    The home is registered for 20 clients within the category of Mental Health and has been in the ownership of Mrs Angela Grugel for 25 years. Glenarie House has been sold for an undisclosed sum to The Fairhome Group, who will be looking to continue to build on the care and commitment shown by Angela and her team as well as expanding into specialist supported living.

    Work has started on Solihull Council’s brand new dementia care home in Shirley.
    The 60-bed, purpose-built care home, will be on land just off Tanworth Lane adjacent to a medical centre.  It will help meet the needs of the increasing number of older people in the borough.
