    Residents at Neale Court Care Home in North Hykeham have been nurturing their own brood of chicks this week. Everyone at the care home has been enchanted by the progress of the chicks as they’ve emerged from their eggs and started growing.

    A Lancashire Care Home has reunited a lost racing pigeon with its owners, after finding out that it was released over 250 miles away in Portsmouth.  
    Stocks Hall Care Home, in the delightful rural village of Mawdesley in Lancashire, welcomed an unexpected visitor of the feathered kind.

  • Blairgowrie care home goes green with recycled benches

    A Blairgowrie care home has demonstrated its green credentials with an investment in four new benches, which are made from recycled milk cartons, in a bid to brighten up its garden in an eco-friendly way.
    Muirton House, which is based on Essendy Road, purchased the recycled benches, which are made from 4,492 four-litre milk cartons. This repurposing means the cartons were not left in landfills, where they would take approximately five years to decompose.
