  The virtual-reality revolution rolls on, as the British artist Mat Collishaw launches a Kickstarter campaign for his Thresholds VR project, which, he says, will take participants back to the first major exhibition of photography in 1839. • New York-based collector Ronald Lauder joins Getty board of trustees

  The Getty Trust in Los Angeles has appointed Ronald Lauder, the youngest son of the cosmetics magnate Este Lauder, as a trustee. Lauder, who has served as the chairman of the Clinique Laboratories conglomerate since 1994, is closely associated with the Museum of Modern Art in New York (the businessman is currently MoMAs honorary chairman).
