  As noted, it appears that Austin Aries was injured at last night’s NXT live event. Aries took a kick to the face from Shinsuke Nakamura before going down quickly to the mat. After taking one more move from Nakamura the ref moves in to check on Aries before throwing up the “x” sign to the backstage area indicating a real injury. The referee then calls for the bell to end the match.

  10/26/16 Austin Aries was injured in tonight’s main event in Fresno Ca. Half way through the match, Aries took a leg strike to the left eye from Nakamura and was busted open. The ref threw up the X and the match was stopped.
  Doctors worked on Aries eye at ringside and he was escorted out of the ring.

  According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, TNA has postponed filming of the “Total Nonstop Deletion” episode of Impact Wrestling which will take place entirely from Matt Hardy’s compound in North Carolina.
