  Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of a house fire that killed a man and his dog Thursday morning in Kearns.According to Unified Fire, firefighters from West Jordan and West Valley City arrived at a home near 4300 West and 5300 South about 9 a.m. to find it in flames.
