    Police Investigating Skier Death at Breckenridge
    Colorado's Summit County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a skier at Breckenridge Ski Resort. According to the Sheriff's Department, on March 11, 2026, deputies responded to a call from the ski resort at around 1:30 p.m.
    Once on scene, deputies learned that a male skier who was visiting from out of state had crashed on the Lake Chutes, which are a double-black diamond run, in a hike-to area of the ski resort on Peak 8. Upon arrival, CPR on the skier was in progress.
