  The Placer Country Sheriff's Office has confirmed that a 26-year-old skier died at Northstar Resort, a popular Lake Tahoe ski resort, on Friday, February 6, 2026.Nicholas Kenworthy of Los Angeles was found unresponsive on the Martis Trail.
