    Although it's later than anyone wanted, and there might not be much terrain open, a chunk of ski resorts, particularly in the Western US, are finally opening for the season this coming weekend.
    Several resorts have started spinning lifts over the last week, including Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, and Big Sky, and there are more on the way to join them this weekend.
