  The 4th of July pyrotechnics show in Incline Village, Nevada, was cancelled after a barge that was supposed to carry fireworks partially sank earlier that day off the shore of Lake Tahoe.A large storm blew into the area on Thursday night, with winds clocked at up to 30 mph, causing catastrophic damage to the barge. • Firework Accident Leaves Three Injured at Maine Ski Resort

  July 4 is usually about fireworks, but at Sugarloaf, Maine, the holiday and long weekend also saw the opening of New England’s newest lift-served bike park.
