  Montana's Red Lodge Mountain is in for one heck of a closing weekend.The ski area has received plenty of snowfall already this season, including 10 inches in the last 24 hours and a total of 18 inches in the last seven days, according to its snow report. • California Ski Resort Shares Success of Parking Reservations

  As the season winds to a close, Palisades Tahoe is celebrating the success of its parking reservation system, which was implemented at the beginning of last season and continued through the 2024/2025 season.

  I’d already called it. The skis were tuned and tucked away, boots dried in the mudroom. After returning from an April ski trip out west, I assumed my season was over. Every ski area in a 2 hour radius of home was closed. I was mentally ready to move onto the next season.
