  Not to be outdone by Killington, Sunday River, Maine, announced today that it, too, will open tomorrow, November 14, 2024.The season starts at 9 a.m. on Locke Mountain, with service provided by the Locke Triple out of the Barker Basin.   The Colorado ski season is quickly getting underway. At the end of this week, Vail Mountain will join the already-open Centennial State resorts in spinning its lifts for eager skiers.
