  Colorado Governor Jared Polis has verbally declared a disaster emergency and authorized the deployment of National Guard members as a large winter storm bears down on the Centennial State.“This declaration is necessary to have resources in place to support rescue efforts around the state,” a press release issued by Governor Polis’ office reads.
