  Grand Targhee Resort, Wyoming just announced that their beloved one-eyed cat Willie has sadly passed away.The lovingly anointed 'King of Targhee', Willie was a staple at the resort for nine years where he welcomed guests, rubbed whiskers with ski patrollers, and frolicked in the snow.Targhee made the announcement of Willie's passing in an Instagram post on August 15th, 2023.   In the evening on Monday August 7, severe weather ripped through southern Lewis County in New York. The next day the National Weather Service in Buffalo confirmed that the storm was an EF-3 tornado with wind speeds topping out at 140 mph.
