  Alta Ski Area, Utah, is still skiable, provided you're willing to do some hiking.Watch as a skier descends a narrow strip of summer snow on the Main Chute off the iconic Mt. For more information on this story, start here.Due to the flooding, Okemo Mountain Resort, located near Ludlow, Vermont, was forced to close down portions of its summer operations, including a bike park and chair lift sightseeing.
