  Mt. Bachelor (Oregon) had a relatively quiet season compared to other places in the west. The Sierras and The Wasatch are setting records, but the Pacific Northwest has remained, well... average.Despite this, Mt. It would be the last day of the 59th season for Woods Valley and the stage was set with beautiful spring conditions for the annual pond skim.   Alta Ski Area is known as the epicenter of Utah's trademark "Greatest Snow On Earth".
