• Skier Searching For Dog Believed To Have Survived Massive Avalanche

  Jacob Dalbey, his dog Ullr, two friends, and Joel Schute were all caught in a huge avalanche near Marble, Colorado two weeks ago.Schute was killed, Dalbey was carried 2,500 feet and completely buried, but Ullr was nowhere to be found. Rescue crews now believe that Ullr might be alive. • (Another) Major Winter Storm Warning Issued For Utah's Ski Resorts

  It's April 3rd, and winter is far from over in Utah. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Wasatch Mountains and Western Uinta Mountains near Salt Lake City. The storm is expected to last through Wednesday, and Alta Ski Area is warning that significant closures, including extended Interlodge restrictions, could be implemented:As of 10:45AM ET on April 3rd, State Route 210 is closed for avalanche mitigation work with no anticipated time of reopening

• Taos Ski Valley Closed Indefinitely

  Taos Ski Valley (New Mexico) announced yesterday morning (4/2/23) that the resort will be closed until further notice.The closure is due to a "village municipal water system failure".
