  The La Niña forecasts back in the Fall looked promising, but nobody could have predicted the season would be this deep.Alta Ski Area (Utah) officially announced on March 25th that this season is their snowiest on record, and the snow isn't supposed to let up anytime soon.The iconic powder skiing destination has racked up a whopping 764 inches since the first snowfall was recorded on October 22, 2022.That means Alta is averaging nearly 4.9 inches per day this season!
