File photo by Jasper Craven/VTDiggerA third Vermont inmate who had been housed at SCI Camp Hill Facility, a state-run prison in Pennsylvania, died Monday of an apparent medical issue, according to the Vermont Department of Corrections.
    The deaths of two other inmates, Roger Brown and Tim Adams, who had served time at Camp Hill were reported this fall. Brown died in mid-October and Adams in early November.

    Betty Miller, 70, was indicted last week on a single felony charge of knowingly possessing “an unregistered select agent, namely ricin.” She allegedly refined the highly toxic substance from castor beans growing at Wake Robin, where she lived.

    James Campbell, 57, of Swanton, was sentenced Thursday to serve 11 years in prison for possession of child pornography.
    U.S. District Judge Geoffrey Crawford sentenced Campbell to serve 135 months in prison and 10 years of supervised release. He is also required to pay a $100 special assessment.
