    The army said in a statement Tuesday that it identified two projectiles fired by from the Palestinian enclave. One was intercepted by an Iron Dome missile defense battery.
    The attack was the second incident this week, and rattled the shaky cease-fire brokered by Egypt and the U.N. two weeks ago that ended two days of fighting with Palestinian militants.

    BUCKEYE, Ariz. (AP) — Three correctional officers were released from the hospital late Monday after becoming sick while inspecting an inmate’s cell at a prison outside Phoenix.
    A department spokesman said investigators are still sorting out what the substance was that injured the three officers and two additional people who weren’t hospitalized.
    Buckeye police spokeswoman Donna Rossi said Monday that emergency crews were called to the prison around 2 p.m.

    MADRID (AP) — Former Real Madrid player Xabi Alonso has been acquitted of tax fraud in Spain.
    The former midfielder was facing a five-year prison sentence for defrauding tax authorities of about 2 million euros ($2.2 million) from 2010-12.
    Prosecutors also wanted Alonso to pay a fine of 4 million euros ($4.4 million), in addition to the amount allegedly defrauded. The irregularities were related to Alonso’s income from image rights.

    ORO VALLEY, Ariz. – The roundabout at Moore Road and La Cañada Drive intersection is now open, the Town of Oro Valley said Tuesday.
    The Town produced an educational video on how to use the roundabout. You can watch it HERE.
    The intersection was expected to be open on Nov.22, however, due to weather conditions the project was delayed.
