    UNITED NATIONS (AP) — U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has selected humanitarian activist Winifred “Winnie” Byanyima to head the United Nations agency responsible for helping end the AIDS epidemic.

    TUCSON – Catalina Foothills School District Foundation is set to host the 2019 Tapas for Teachers.
    The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11 at St. Philip’s Plaza.
    There will be live music by 80s cover band Gigi and the Glow, food, and a silent auction.
    Tickets are $40. This is an adult-only event.
