    PITTSBURGH (AP) — Red-hot rookie Bryan Reynolds hit a three-run home run in the seventh inning to lift the Pittsburgh Pirates over the Milwaukee Brewers 6-5 Sunday in their final game before the All-Star break.

    OXFORD, Miss. (AP) — Authorities say the pilot of a single-engine plane has been injured when the aircraft crashed on the golf course at the University of Mississippi.
    University spokesperson Rod Guajardo told media outlets the plane affiliated with the Civil Air Patrol was practicing touch-and-go landings when it crashed about 3:15 p.m. Saturday near the 17th tee of the Ole Miss Golf Course. The course is near University-Oxford Airport.

    PHOENIX (AP) – An 8-year-old Arizona boy who was injured while trying to ride a homemade zip line has died.
    The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that the boy died three days after he suffered a strangulation injury June 24 at a home near Buckeye.
