  CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) – The average U.S. price of regular-grade gasoline shot up 16 cents a gallon (3.8 liters) over the past two weeks, to $2.66.
  Industry analyst Trilby Lundberg of the Lundberg Survey says the rise comes as supplies tighten while refineries undergo maintenance in advance of increased demand during the summer driving season.

  MARTINSVILLE, Va. (AP) — Joey Logano leads two rows of Ford drivers to the green flag Sunday at Martinsville Speedway, the first stop at a short track in this young NASCAR season.
  Logano won at Martinsville last fall by bumping Martin Truex Jr. out of the lead in the final turn of the playoff race. The maneuver earned Logano a slot in NASCAR’s championship and he won his first Cup title three weeks later.

• Juventus sets record for women’s club game in Italy

  TURIN, Italy (AP) — A week after the world record for the highest attendance at a women’s soccer club match was set, a league record in Italy was also broken.
  Juventus’ women’s team played for the first time at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday and a total of 39,027 people turned out to see the league leaders beat second-place Fiorentina 1-0.
  That annihilated the previous record attendance for a women’s club match in Italy of 14,000 spectators.
