    JAYAPURA, Indonesia (AP) — The death toll from flash floods and mudslides triggered by torrential downpours in eastern Indonesia has risen to 89, with dozens of others missing.

    PITTSBURGH (AP) — A white Pennsylvania police officer who shot and killed an unarmed black teenager last year is headed to trial in a case that could put him behind bars for life.

    HONOLULU (AP) — Hawaii would be the first state in the U.S. to ban most plastics used at restaurants under legislation that aims to cut down on waste that pollutes the ocean.

    TUCSON – Tucson Police have confirmed that a stabbing occurred outside of St. Mary’s Hospital Monday afternoon.
    According to TPD, the stabbing involved two males at a bus stop in front of the hospital. One man walked himself into the hospital with a stab wound; the injury is said to be non-life-threatening.
