    SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) – Scottsdale police say 24-year-old woman was fatally injured when she jumped from a moving car driven by another woman during an argument after the pair had been drinking.
    Sgt. Ben Hoster said Summer Leann Crosswhite died of her injuries at a hospital after officers found her in the middle of a street Friday evening.
    According to Hoster, Crosswhite was riding in the front passenger seat, opened the passenger door and jumped out.

    NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Raasean Davis had 19 points as North Carolina Central narrowly beat North Carolina A&T 65-63 in the Mid-Eastern Conference tourney semifinals on Friday night.
    Randy Miller, Jr. had 17 points for NC Central (17-15). Zacarry Douglas added eight rebounds.
    Kameron Langley had 14 points and 10 assists for the Aggies (19-13). Terry Harris added 14 points. Ibrahim Sylla had 10 points.

  • Seton Hall beats Marquette 81-79 to reach Big East final

    NEW YORK (AP) — Myles Powell sparked Seton Hall with 18 second-half points and Big East player of the year Markus Howard of Marquette came up short on a potential winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Pirates a chippy and foul-filled 81-79 victory in the Big East Tournament semifinals Friday night.
    The third-seeded Pirates (20-12) will face top-seed and defending champion Villanova in the final Saturday night at Madison Square Garden in a rematch of the 2016 title game won by Seton H
  • Montana dumps Weber St to return to Big Sky title game

    BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Ahmaad Rorie scored 28 points and Bobby Moorehead scored 13 with 10 rebounds and Montana beat Weber State 78-49 in the semifinals of the Big Sky Conference tournament on Friday night.
    The top-seeded Grizzlies (25-8) advance to the title game to face No. 3-seed Eastern Washington, a 77-61 winner over Southern Utah, on Saturday. The Eagles beat Montana 78-71 at home before Montana returned the favor with a 75-74 win on its home court. Montana beat Eastern Washington 82-65
