    GILBERT, Ariz. (AP) — Police in Gilbert say they’re investigating the discovery of a dead body in a neighborhood lake.

    TULSA, Okla. (AP) — A vessel that bears the name of Oklahoma’s second-largest city has been commissioned as the newest warship in the U.S. Navy’s fleet.

    BLUEFIELD, Va. (AP) — Authorities say a Virginia police officer has been shot and seriously wounded after making a traffic stop.
    State police say a Bluefield officer was shot after stopping a 2008 Toyota Yaris for an equipment violation on Route 460 shortly before midnight Saturday.
