    PHOENIX (AP) — Phoenix police say a 3-year-old boy’s condition has stabilized, but he remains in critical condition after being shot in what may have been an accident.
    Sgt. Tommy Thompson says a woman took her son into an emergency room Saturday morning for treatment of a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
    Thompson says the incident is preliminarily believed to be an accident but that investigators are at the family’s residence to determine what happened.
