• Tucson man convicted of child sex crimes spanning 25+ years

    TUCSON – Pima County prosecutors say a man will be sentenced next month, after he was convicted of multiple sex crimes involving kids.
    Investigators say between 1988 and 2014 Johnny Ray Foster molested three girls aged five and 11, as well as committing other sex crimes against another adult victim.
    A Pima County jury convicted Foster last week on a total of ten counts, including sexual conduct with a minor, molestation, and other charges.

    MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Two people with direct knowledge of the deals tell The Associated Press that the Minnesota Twins have agreed to five-year contracts with right fielder Max Kepler and shortstop Jorge Polanco.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Authorities took a man straight from a rehabilitation center into custody Thursday as they arrested him in the shooting death of a Birmingham police officer last month.
