    PHOENIX (AP) — Phoenix police say a man who went to a hotel room and demanded money from two guests at gunpoint has been killed.
    Police spokeswoman Mercedes Fortune said Sunday that 40-year-old Aaron Townsend was shot by someone he had tried to rob.
    Fortune said Townsend had demanded two men in the hotel room give him money while he stood outside the open door Saturday. Townsend briefly turned the gun on someone outside the room, and one of the men inside grabbed a gun and shot Townsend.

    TUCSON — American Airlines officials have confirmed a co-pilot on a plane from Dallas/Fort Worth was hospitalized after getting sick during the flight.

    MESA, Ariz. (AP) — Police in Mesa say a man is dead after being shot at a convenience store.

    COLUMBIA, Mo. (AP) — An assistant Missouri football coach has been arrested for missing a court date on a traffic ticket.
