• Migrants from Iran showing up on England’s Dover coast

  LONDON (AP) — British authorities say they found nine suspected migrants from Iran after they landed on a coast in southeastern England.
  The Home Office said the group landed Sunday at Folkstone, near the town of Dover, on an inflatable boat. It said they will be “processed in line with immigration rules.”

  EDINBURG, Texas (AP) — Authorities say a man who disappeared on the last day of his 2008 murder trial has been captured in Mexico and returned to Texas.
  Hidalgo County prosecutors say in a news release that 35-year-old Oscar Davila Rodriguez was returned to the U.S. Wednesday. The statement didn’t include details about how or where he was captured.

  DENVER (AP) — A United Airlines plane has veered partly off a taxiway at the Denver airport but no injuries were reported.
  Denver International Airport spokeswoman Mindy Crane says the incident occurred at about 6:20 p.m. Saturday.

• Les Miles signs 5-year contract to coach Kansas

  LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Former LSU coach Les Miles has been hired to lead Kansas’ downtrodden football program.
