  • Trial set for men accused of UA alumnus killing in Greece

     
    TUCSON – The trial has been set for the men charged with killing a University of Arizona graduate in 2017.
    According to officials, 22-year-old Bakari Henderson was allegedly beaten to death by a mob at a bar on the Greek island of Zakynthos in July 2017. Henderson was taken to a hospital with severe head injuries but was pronounced dead on arrival.
    Authorities said nine suspects were arrested in the incident. Seven will be tried in court, which is set to begin Friday.

    NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A federal appeals court decision means authorities in Louisiana still cannot enforce a state law setting 21 as the minimum age for exotic dancers.
