  A permit valued at $212 million was just submitted for FedEx’s World Hub modernization.The Memphis-based shipping and logistics company announced in March 2018 its plans to update the FedEx World Hub at Memphis International Airport via a $1 billion investment. In August of this year, that total was bumped up to $1.5 billion.Yesterday, a permit was filed for one of the largest pieces of the hub overhaul, a new package sorting facility.
