    TURLOCK (CBS13) – Police are investigating after two men were found shot dead inside a car in Turlock early Thursday morning.
    The scene was near the intersection of Fulkerth Road and Highway 99.
    Turlock police say, a little after 2 a.m., they started getting calls about a car on the side of the road. Callers reported that the car had obvious signs that it was shot multiple times.

  • Highway 65 Overnight Work Moved To Daytime After Noise Complaints

    ROCKLIN (CBS13) – A change is now in place surrounding road construction along Highway 65 in Rocklin.
    The overnight demolition work will be moving to daytime hours.
    Many Rocklin residents have been complaining that the wall-thumping work has been keeping them up at night. So now, starting Monday, crews will start that work at 6 a.m. and will run through 9 p.m.

  • Deputies: Men Found In North Auburn With Stolen Chainsaws

    NORTH AUBURN (CBS13) – Three Fresno County men have been arrested after deputies say they stole chainsaws from PG&E in Placer County.
    According to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects were spotted by a deputy around 2 a.m. Monday – speeding away from a hotel parking lot in the North Auburn area.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting in south Sacramento Thursday morning.
    The scene is near Indian Lane and Wah Avenue.
    Sacramento police say officers responded a little after 4:30 a.m. to investigate a reported shooting. Two shooting victims were found at the scene; one was pronounced dead while the other was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
