  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Authorities say they have made an arrest in the case of an alleged serial groper at Cosumnes River College.
  The Los Rios Police Department says 37-year-old Larry Monte Davis was arrested on campus on Wednesday. Officers say they spotted Davis following a woman on campus and confronted him.
  Davis allegedly became combative when confronted by officers, but he was soon taken into custody.

  ACAMPO (CBS13) – Authorities are responding to a plane crash in San Joaquin County Thursday afternoon.
  The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office confirms the crash happened near the Skydive Lodi Parachute Center along the 4000 block of E. Jahant Road.
  An FAA official says a single-engine Cessna with the tail number N1114A, confirmed to be a skydiving plane, was involved in the crash. The plane either made a hard landing or crashed, the official said.

  SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Sacramento jurors have found a woman not guilty by reason of insanity in the shooting of a man on a light-rail car in 2014.
  The Sacramento Bee reports that 34-year-old Lynnsey Evakarla Braun was found guilty of second-degree murder last week in the death of 51-year-old Eric McCaster, but after the sanity phase of the trail jurors ruled she was legally insane at the time of the shooting.
