    Work On Josh Gibson Mural In Homestead Completed

    HOMESTEAD (KDKA) — A mural of baseball great Josh Gibson is now done.
    Artist Jeremy Raymer finished his work on Monday.
    Gibson played for the Homestead Grays and was the second Negro League player inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
    The mural is located on the back of Voodoo Brewing in Homestead.
    An official unveiling will be held on Friday.
    Tickets for the unveiling will be $20, with proceeds going to the Josh Gibson Foundation.

    Police: Man Expected To Survive After Shooting In Stowe Township

    STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KDKA) — Police say a man is expected to survive after being shot in Stowe Township.
    The Allegheny County Police Department said officials were notified of the shooting on Woodward Avenue around 9:20 p.m. on Monday. First responders the victim with multiple injuries, police said.
    He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive, according to law enforcement. Police are investigating.
