    Fire crews rushed to the scene on Singer Place around 2 p.m. to see smoke pouring from the building.

    The statewide total number of cases has risen to 146,990 since Tuesday’s report, according to the state’s data.

    John Ellis, 51, was wounded in the shooting in 2016 when five adults and an unborn child were killed. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner said he was pronounced dead Tuesday at UPMC Mercy Hospital after being taken to the hospital for complications on Friday.
