    CLARION, Pa. (KDKA) — Clarion University released its plans to return to in-person classes for the upcoming fall semester.
    The semester will start on August 17 and and end before Thanksgiving.
    After the holiday, students will remain at home, finishing classes, and taking finals remotely.
    The university says it will modify on-campus activities and protocols to keep students safe.

    FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. (KDKA) — A Fayette County man is being credited with saving the life of a police officer after he helped pull the officer from a burning car.
    On Sunday, the police officer was flown to a hospital in Morgantown, W. Va. after a two-vehicle accident in Uniontown on East Fayette Street.

    PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — The University of Pittsburgh has been certified as a Bee Campus USA.
    It earned the certification by creating sustainable on-campus habitats for bees to pollinate.
    Pitt will also work on pollinator conservation and support bees by establishing native-plant habitats, providing nesting sites and reducing pesticide use.Pitt is the fifth university in the state to receive the recognition.
