  BUTLER COUNTY (KDKA) — Police say an 18-year old is accused of holding a knife to a woman’s neck, sexually assaulting her and choking her until she blacked out.
  Alex Lamont Boyden II, of McKees Rocks, is in jail after he allegedly left the woman along the road and drove away in her car, the Butler Eagle reports.

  BETHEL PARK (KDKA) — A local World War II veteran was celebrated on Memorial Day.
  Nick Scarlatellicelebrated his 100th birthday on Monday with a parade in Bethel Park.
  Bethel Park firefighters joined the local VFW and American legions to help put on the event outside his house.
  Scarlatelli is the son of immigrants who grew up in Carrick and enlisted in the Air Force in 1941.
  It wasn’t long before he was shipped to the Panama Canal and saw action.
